The List

Basically ‘the list’ features a huge quantity of both stamp sets and accessories that are retiring to make way for the new 2009/2010 catalogue in April. For the very first time, some of the stamp sets have been discounted. There are quite a few really beautiful Designer Series Papers on sale. Check out the PDF document on the Stampin' Up! website www.stampinup.com.au that lets you know the retiring products in numerical order. This means that you can use the list in conjunction with your catalogue. An alphabetical list is also available, if you would like one.

Some items have been so popular, that they have already run out and I have copied the latest information identifying the products that you can no longer order.

Please do email or phone me with any orders as soon as possible to avoid missing out. I will be posting regular updates on my blog regarding availability, rather than flooding email boxes. Please check out www.craftclassroom@blogspot.com if you would like to get a snapshot before ordering. The card above features ‘Bodacious Bouquet’, one of the many sets that are retiring.

It is worth keeping in mind when ordering that there will be some price rises in the new catalogue, so this is also an opportunity to order items not retiring before they go up. For example we now know that ink pads will rise from $9.95 to $11.95. While still extremely good value, you may wish to the opportunity to save some money.

Bushfire Appeal

UPDATE & THANK YOU

Thanks to all Independent Demonstrators and Customers from Australia and New Zealand, Stampin’ Up! have raised $34,653.80 (figure updated today Friday 27th Feb) so far to be donated to the Australian Red Cross helping victims of the terrible bush fires in Victoria. This has been made possible by the generous donation of 50% of the retail value of 10 stamp sets as outlined below by Stampin’ Up! This is also made possible by you the customers purchasing these sets, which are all beautiful – my special favourites are ‘Priceless’ and ‘Baroque Motifs’. Scroll down for details of these sets.

ORDER BEFORE MIDDAY SATURDAY TO RECEIVE EXTRA BENEFITS

Stampin Up will continue to donate money from stamp sets till the end of March. However, there are two major advantages to ordering prior to the end of this month i.e. Saturday.

You will guarantee delivery of any set ordered

On the 1st of March the ‘retired list’ will be announced, which includes 6 of the 10 stamps on the Bushfire Appeal List. These sets are only available whilst stocks last during March. By ordering on or before the 28th of February, Stampin’ Up! will guarantee delivery of any stamp set, even if it has to go on back order. Retired stamps that run out during March will not go onto backorder. Of course we do know that all the In Color products will be retired at the end of march, so if you are wanting to absolutely secure these items, ordering before the end of this month will ensure delivery.

Receive a free Sale – a – Bration stamp set for every $100 spent

This means that if you spend $100 on Bushfire Appeal Stamp Sets, you will receive a free stamp set and $50 will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal.

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO ORDER

Contact me via any of the methods listed below

Check out the links to the on line catalogues on the right hand side of the screen, if you do not have your own hard copy.

Please try to contact me before midday tomorrow (Saturday). I can place orders up till 11pm Saturday, however, I need time to process the orders and I have workshops in the afternoon. If you do not read this until Saturday night, feel free to try and contact me – I just cannot guarantee anything after midday – but I will do my best.

Kind regards

Liz

Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart

With ‘Sale – a -  Bration’ coming to a close this Saturday, I thought that I would take a final opportunity to hghlight the demonstrator opportunity before the special concludes. Above you will find the Stampin’ Up! Statement of the Heart. This ‘Statement of the Heart’ really does capture the very essence of what makes being a demonstrator fun and worthwhile. I absolutely love making Stampin’ Up! projects, especially when I can share them with others. I enjoy being creative with my friends and my other demonstrators as well as during workshops. In the last 3 years I have made so many wonderful new friends, completed some beautiful projects for my friends and family, earned money doing something I enjoy and have assisted a number of charitable organisations.

If you have ever thought about joining as a discount, hobby or career demonstrator; please do ask me any questions you may have. To be eligible for the special, as detailed below, Stampin’ Up! must receive your application by Friday, so please touch base with me sooner rather than later.

Afternoon Tea Origami Ball

I am extremely fortunate to have a craft room, which I love to share with my 4 children when they are working on homework, school projects or craft. Here is just a little creation I 'whipped up' (only joking) whilst helping the children with their homework. It is an Origami Ball made from 60 individual pieces of folded paper (Afternoon Tea Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini Catalogue). I am definitely making some of these for Christmas 2009, when we get the papers from the new catalogue to be released in April.

Paper Christmas Decorations and Macleay Island Craft Fair

How are beautiful are these lovely paper Christmas Decorations made by Leonie Conyers. Leonie is an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and member of our Paper Angels Group. Leonie recently worked very hard to make a beautiful display at her first craft fair on Macleay Island, which is where she lives. Leonie made the decorations using the Scallop Circle Punch and beads from the Pretties Kit.

Leonie and I sourced these fabulous battery operated 30cm fibre optic trees, which are easily decorated with paper circles, folded in half and sandwiched together. This is a great way to make use of your leftover scrapbooking paper. if you are interested in getting one of these trees (not including decorations, ribbon and batteries), please email me on liz@danichbe.com The trees are $5 each.

Here is a photo of Leonie's table, which was packed full of great ideas; including Candy Cane Holders, Chocolate Pockets, Christmas Cards, Christmas Decorations, kits and lots more.

Chocolate Candy Canes

Sometimes it's just nice to be different! Not satisfied with the red and white candy canes, I just had to go searching for some alternatives. This was just so much harder than I thought. I ended up raiding two different Coles Supermarkets to get only 4 packets of Chocolate Candy Canes, which were hidden amongst mountains of other colours! Reading this, you are probably glad that you were not with me at the time for fear of embarassment of knowing someone prepared to go to such extremes! However, there are some understanding souls, such as my friend Ursula who has kindly tracked me down some black & white canes that I am looking forward to packaging. The pictured canes have been presented in holders made with the Holiday Harmony Paper teamed with Chocolate Chip and Purely Pomegranate cardstock. The 'posting' hole was made with the Word window Punch.

Cleveland Christmas Card Workshop

Our Cleveland Christmas Card Workshop was held on November the 9th and so sorry that it has taken so long to put these pictures up. One of the reasons for this, was that I was very silly and picked up one of my workshop bags without bending my knees! As soon as I did it, I knew I was in trouble and by the end of the Cleveland Workshop I was literally hobbling out of the RSL. It has been a hugely successful series of events, with money still coming in for our charity. Above is my table.
