Macleay Island Christmas Card Workshop

Well here we are, preparing for the second last Christmas Card Workshop on lovely Macleay Island. Pictured are Leonie (standing) and Robyn getting ready for the arrival of our card makers. As you can imagine, there were some logistics involved in taking all our equipment accross to an island, but it all went very well.

This is my table and we had a great time making our 6 beautiful cards.

Leonie did a great job coordinating the workshop on her island and here she is pictured with her table.

Finally the lovely Robyn with her terrific table, 5 of whom travelled from the mainland.

We really enjoyed our lunch at the Blue Parrot Cafe, with its lovely balcony outlook.

One of Leonie's ladies made a beautiful card especially for the card competition. A very clever choice, since our group is called the paper angels.

Here is Gerane, who lives on Russel Island, and won second prize for her lovely card.

Jackie was the 1st prize card winner, with her cute Christmas emu bursting from a card.

Our lucky raffle prize winners were very happy with their stash of goodies.
