Demonstrators, customers and special visitors had a great day at the Pine Rivers Album in a Day Event held on Sunday 1st February. We completed an entire album, complete with 20 gorgeous pages, featuring the lovely 'Afternoon Tea' paper.
Pictured is Belinda Ross, one of 'Paper Angels' newer demonstrators, who you might also guess is Rebecca Ross's Sister in Law. Belinda recently lost her dad to an agressive brain tumor, specifically Glioblastoma. A memorial fund set up in her dad's name (Garry Palmer) was created to donate money to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation to put into research into finding a treatment for this devastating condition. On the day almost $1000 was raised and we hope to add to this with the second event being run at Carina on the 15th March. Well done to both Belinda and Rebecca for their hard work on these events. We all had a great day, produced a fabulous album and made a difference
